This Privacy Policy explains how Store My Dress Limited, trading as Kept Store ("we", "us", "our"), collects and uses your personal data when you visit or buy from www.keptstore.co. We are the data controller for the purposes of UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

The information we collect
- Information you give us: name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number, and order details. We do not store your full card details — payments are handled by Shopify Payments (see below).
- Information collected automatically: when you browse the site we collect device and usage data such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring site, via cookies and similar technologies.
- Marketing preferences: whether you've opted in to our emails.

Who we share your information with
We share your data only with service providers who help us run the store, including:
- Shopify — our e-commerce platform and order management.
- Shopify Payments — our payment processor.
- Royal Mail and DPD — to deliver your order.
- Klaviyo — to send marketing emails (where you've opted in) and related order/marketing analytics.
- Google Analytics — to understand site usage.
These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate contracts. Some may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement/Addendum) to protect your data. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your basket, understand site usage (Google Analytics) and support marketing (Klaviyo). Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent, which you give via our cookie banner and can change at any time through the banner or your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how the site works.
Marketing
If you've opted in, we'll send you marketing emails via Klaviyo. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting hello@keptstore.co. Unsubscribing from marketing won't stop essential service emails about orders you've placed.
How long we keep your data
We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed to fulfil your order and to meet legal and accounting obligations (generally six years for financial records). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your data; to have it corrected or deleted; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@keptstore.co. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, though we'd appreciate the chance to help first.
Children
Our site and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
