Brillianize is an anti-static cleaner for acrylic, glass and almost every clear or polished surface in the home. It contains no alcohol, no ammonia and no abrasives — the things that craze acrylic and strip the coatings from lenses and screens — so it cleans, polishes and protects in a single pass.

Originally engineered to clean aircraft windscreens, it is now trusted by the Smithsonian and other museums for their acrylic display cases. As it dries, it leaves an anti-static glaze that keeps dust away for weeks.

What makes it different

Most household glass sprays are built for one surface: glass. They rely on ammonia and alcohol, which craze acrylic and strip the anti-reflective and oil-repelling coatings on modern lenses and screens. That damage is permanent.

Brillianize was formulated differently. It contains no alcohol, no ammonia, no abrasives and no harsh surfactants — it is non-toxic, biodegradable, and safe enough to use around children, pets and even aquariums. It cleans, polishes and leaves an anti-static finish that repels dust for three to four weeks, all in one wipe.

The only surfaces to avoid are specialist museum coatings such as Tru Vue Optium and anti-reflective conservation acrylics, which have their own dedicated cleaners.

How to use

Shake the bottle. Spray two or three light puffs onto the surface (or onto the cloth for screens and lenses), then wipe with long, gentle strokes using a soft, lint-free microfibre cloth — never paper towel on acrylic. Buff to a gloss before it dries to bring up the anti-static finish. For very dirty surfaces, do two light passes.
