Most leather care is wrong for it: creams flatten the nap, oils darken it. Suede Saver is a light spray conditioner made only for suede and nubuck. It softens and conditions without a heavy or oily feel, dries quickly, and leaves the colour exactly where it was.

Brush the nap up, mist it evenly, let it dry, brush again. Shoes, jackets, bags, a tired suede chair — anything with a nap. A 236ml spray bottle.

What makes it different

Suede and nubuck are leather finished nap-side out — the fibres stand up, which is what gives them their softness and their habit of going dry and tired. Conditioners for smooth leather are the wrong tool: a cream mats the fibres down, and oils soak in and darken them.

Suede Saver is a thin spray formulated just for napped leathers. It carries the conditioning into the fibres without weighing them down, dries quickly, and will not darken or stain. The nap stays a nap.

The method matters as much as the product. Raise the nap with a suede brush first so the spray reaches the fibres rather than sitting on a flattened surface, mist evenly, let it dry, and brush once more to lift the finish.

How to use

Brush the nap up with a suede or nubuck brush. Spray a light, even mist over the whole surface — thin and even beats heavy in patches. Leave to dry, then brush again to lift the nap. Test a discreet area first.
